As a supporter and advocate for our work we wanted to approach you to make a special request. As I write today thousands of harp seal pups are being slaughtered on the ice floes in northern Canada for their fur and blubber.
Please help us raise awareness of this cruel slaughter by posting one of our badges on your website, blog or social networking profile.
The Canadian seal hunt is the largest slaughter of marine mammals on Earth. More than one million baby seals have been killed for their fur during the past four years.
Once again, HSI and its sister organization Humane Society US (HSUS) is documenting the commercial seal hunt firsthand using video and written reports. We are committed to exposing to the world the cruelty that takes place every year on the ice—cruelty that the Canadian government wants no one to see.
Please help us today by simply grabbing the code shown on this HSI website page http://www.hsi.org.au/?catID=137, then copy and paste into the source code on your page, website or blog.
All the latest news on the seal hunt can be found on our website including live updates from the ice.
Thank you for your help
